Security & Shared IP
VPN and proxy policy, dangerous pages and legitimate shared networks. What does GMCO do with fake CAPTCHA or command prompts?
Ghost Hoover blocks supported pages that ask users to open Run, PowerShell or a terminal and paste commands. A real CAPTCHA never requires executing a system command, installing unknown software or revealing a secret.
Can I sign in through a VPN or proxy?
The planned security layer blocks the entire GMCO login through detected VPN or proxy connections. Attempts are recorded permanently, and the third detected attempt results in a permanent ban without appeal. This enforcement is not active until the security backend is released.
What if several legitimate users share one public IP?
They must declare every separate account through the planned internal ticket system before using the shared connection. After approval, the accounts remain linked as one shared-IP group until an administrator changes it. Only the administrator-selected primary account can earn GC, and the primary account can be changed only by an administrator and no more than once every 30 days.
What happens if shared accounts are not declared?
Undeclared multiple accounts using one public IP may be banned and handled through a separate shared-IP appeal. This does not create an appeal route for the permanent ban caused by three detected VPN or proxy attempts. Using a separate mobile connection and separate IP is the user's responsibility.
Can linked shared-IP accounts complete the same PTC campaign together?
No. Starting a campaign on the primary account reserves it for the whole linked group. During the 30-minute reservation the other accounts cannot start the same campaign, and linked secondary accounts do not receive GC rewards for PTC.
